AI Suggestions & Validation

Feature Guide — How to get better accounts by improving your ICP with AI

How it works in 30 seconds
1

New user? Click Start with website - enter your URL and the AI fills all 8 ICP sections automatically. Or fill in the four Product fields manually to get started.

2

Use per-section Suggestions to review and fine-tune individual fields - each section has a sparkle button that proposes values you can accept or edit

3

Run AI Validation to get a resonance score per persona and specific recommendations to improve it

4

Apply the recommendations, re-validate, and watch your persona resonance score rise - better ICP means better accounts

The Three AI Modes

Dream100AI has three distinct AI tools in the ICP setup. They do different jobs and work best in sequence.

Auto-fill ICP
AI builds the whole ICP
Enter your website URL or your four product fields and the AI fills all 8 ICP sections in one go. No review step - applied directly. Best starting point for a new ICP.
Suggestions
AI fills in the blanks
Each section has a sparkle button. The AI proposes values for that section based on what you have already entered. You review the suggestion banner and apply what fits.
Validation
AI scores what you have
The AI simulates three buyer personas and rates how strongly each one resonates with your ICP sections. Returns a score, persona reactions, and specific gaps to fix.
Best practice
Auto-fill first, fine-tune with Suggestions, validate last

Use Auto-fill ICP to get all 8 sections populated quickly, then use the per-section Suggestion buttons to refine anything that does not match your real experience. Once everything looks right, run Validation to find the gaps that still need work.

Minimum Fields Required for AI

Suggestions and Validation have different minimum requirements. Here is exactly what each needs before it can run.

Suggestions can run on an empty form - there is no hard minimum. However the quality of the output depends entirely on what context you have already filled in. These four fields in the Product section are the most important starting point:

Required
Product Name
The name of your product or service. Without it the AI writes generic suggestions that could apply to any business.
Required
What It Does
A short description of what your product actually does. Be specific: not "we help companies grow" but "we run structured outbound sales programmes for B2B scale-ups". This is the AI's primary context for every suggestion it makes.
Required
Key Result
The main outcome a customer achieves. One clear result: "doubles qualified pipeline in 90 days" or "reduces customer churn by 25%". The AI uses this to keep all suggestions aligned with the value you deliver.
Required
Core Problem
The single most important problem your product solves. The sharper this is, the more specific every suggestion will be across all other sections.

Validation has two hard requirements that the app checks before allowing it to run:

Required
Job Title (Who Qualifies section)
The persona the AI simulates during validation. Without a job title, the app blocks validation entirely - it cannot score resonance against an undefined person.
Required
Target Industries (Firmographics section)
The sector context for the simulated personas. Without industries the AI cannot place the buyer in a realistic company context.
Recommended
Persona Archetype + Company Size
Adding the archetype (e.g. "The Ambitious Scaler") and headcount range gives the AI richer persona context, producing more nuanced scores and more specific gap analysis per simulated buyer.
Start here
Fill in Product first, then Job Title and Industries

These are the fields only you can fill in accurately - the AI cannot infer them. Once these are in place, use Suggestions to complete the remaining sections and then run Validation.

Auto-fill ICP - Starting from Scratch

The Auto-fill ICP button in the top bar fills all 8 ICP sections in one call. It behaves differently depending on whether your product fields are already filled.

If none of the four product fields are filled, the button shows Start with website and opens a guided flow:

1
Enter your website URL
Dream100AI fetches your website server-side and extracts the readable content. No manual copy-paste needed.
2
The AI identifies your products or services
If your website has multiple offerings, a selection screen appears. Pick the product you want to build an ICP for. If there is only one, this step is skipped.
3
All 8 ICP sections are filled automatically
The four product fields are filled first, then the AI uses that context to complete Firmographics, Pain, Buying Process, Disqualifiers, Who Qualifies, What They Want, and Transformation Journey - all in one go.

If the four product fields contain content, the button shows Auto-fill ICP and skips the website flow. It reads what you have entered and directly fills any empty fields across all 8 sections.

Important
Auto-fill applies directly - no review step

Unlike the per-section sparkle buttons, Auto-fill ICP does not show a suggestion banner. Values are applied immediately to all empty fields. Use the per-section suggest buttons afterward to review and refine individual sections.

How Per-Section Suggestions Work

Every ICP section has a sparkle button. These suggestions show a reviewable banner - you decide per field what to apply.

1
The AI reads everything you have filled in so far
Your Product fields, industries, pain points, persona - anything already entered becomes the briefing. A richer context produces more targeted suggestions.
2
It proposes values for the current section
For Pain & Problem it might suggest specific frustrations, consequences, and current workaround behaviour. For Who Qualifies it might suggest three qualifying characteristics and a persona archetype. For What They Want it might suggest goals and transformation dreams.
3
A suggestion banner appears below the section
You can apply individual fields or accept all at once. Edit anything that does not fit - the AI's starting point is usually strong but your real-world knowledge always takes priority.
4
Each accepted suggestion improves the next one
Once you save a section, the next suggestion incorporates it. Working through sections in order gives progressively better results.
Tip
Use Auto-fill first, per-section suggestions to fine-tune

Auto-fill ICP gets you from zero to a complete ICP in seconds. The per-section sparkle buttons are for refining - replacing a suggestion that does not match your real experience, or adding more specific language after you have reviewed the AI's first pass.

How AI Validation Works

Validation runs per section - not on the whole ICP at once. Four sections have a validate button: Pain & Problem, Who Qualifies, What They Want, and Transformation Journey. Each one can be validated independently.

Input Section content + full ICP context
Process 3 buyer personas simulated
Output Score + reactions + gaps
Result Specific improvements

For each section the AI simulates three realistic buyer personas based on your Job Title and Industries. Each persona independently reads the section and produces:

1
A score from 1 to 10
How strongly this persona resonates with what you have written. The overall section score is the average of all three persona scores.
2
An honest reaction
One or two sentences written in the first person from the persona's point of view - what resonates with them and what doesn't. Example: "The pain is real for me but the transformation steps feel generic - I've heard this before from three other vendors."
3
A specific gap
The single most important element missing or weak for that persona. This is the most actionable output - each gap points directly to what to improve in that section.
4
Improvement suggestions
After the three persona responses, the validation returns a list of concrete, actionable suggestions for the section - specific rewrites and additions, not generic advice.

The Score - What It Means

Each validated section gets an overall score from 1 to 10 - the average of the three simulated persona scores. The score is colour-coded so you can see at a glance where to focus.

4
Below 5.0 - Red
Not resonating
The simulated personas are not connecting with this section. Content is too vague, too generic, or missing key elements the buyer cares about. Rewrite before generating accounts.
6
5.0 to 6.9 - Amber
Partially resonating
Some personas connect, others don't. Read the individual gaps - one or two specific improvements will often push this into the green zone.
8
7.0 and above - Green
Resonating well
All three personas recognise themselves in what you have written. This section is ready. Apply any remaining suggestions to push towards 9 or 10 if you want maximum precision.
What to read beyond the score
The persona reactions are more valuable than the number

The score tells you where you are. The persona reactions tell you why. A persona saying "I recognise the pain but the goals feel like marketing copy, not something I actually measure" gives you a precise edit to make - far more useful than a score of 6.2.

How to Improve Your Score

Each persona surfaces one specific gap. The suggestions list translates those gaps into concrete actions. Here are the most common improvements and how to apply them.

Pain & Problem - content feels generic. Replace broad statements with role-specific language. Instead of "inefficient processes" write "SDRs spend 60% of their time on manual research instead of calling". The persona must recognise the exact situation immediately.
What They Want - goals lack specificity. Add numbers and timeframes. Change "grow revenue" to "add one extra qualified meeting per SDR per week within 60 days". Vague goals score low because no persona can picture whether they have achieved them.
Transformation Journey - steps feel like a vendor pitch. Write each step from the buyer's perspective, not yours. What does the customer do, experience, or stop worrying about at each stage? If it sounds like your brochure, rewrite it as their journey.
Who Qualifies - persona is too broad. Add seniority, department, and company context to the Job Title field. "Sales Leader" scores lower than "VP of Sales at a B2B SaaS company scaling from 20 to 50 reps". The more specific the persona, the more precise the simulation.
Who Qualifies - archetype is missing. The archetype field gives the AI a behavioural profile to simulate against. A persona with an archetype produces a richer reaction and a more specific gap than one without.
Pain & Problem - consequences and frustrations are empty. The consequences and frustrations fields in the Pain section add emotional texture. A buyer who reads "the consequence is missing quota two quarters in a row" responds very differently than one who reads "performance could be better".

Practical Example - Before and After

The same ICP section validated twice - once with vague content, once after applying the persona gaps. The difference in score and persona reaction shows exactly what specificity does.

Before - Score 4.3 / Red
Who Qualifies - Job Title Sales Manager
Pain & Problem - Core Problem Not enough leads and slow growth
Pain & Problem - Consequences (empty)
What They Want - Goals More revenue and better pipeline
Persona reaction (example) "This could describe almost any sales team. Nothing here makes me feel like you understand my specific situation."
After - Score 8.7 / Green
Who Qualifies - Job Title VP of Sales, B2B SaaS, 50-250 employees, scaling outbound team
Pain & Problem - Core Problem No repeatable outbound motion - the team relies on inbound and referrals and cannot forecast next quarter
Pain & Problem - Consequences Missing quota two quarters running, board pressure to show predictable pipeline before next funding round
What They Want - Goals One extra qualified meeting per SDR per week within 60 days, without adding headcount
Persona reaction (example) "This is exactly my situation. The board pressure angle is real. I want to know how you solve it."

Recommended Workflow

1
Click Auto-fill ICP - Start with website
If your ICP is empty, click the Auto-fill ICP button and enter your website URL. Pick your product if multiple offerings are detected. All 8 sections are filled in one go. Alternatively, fill the four Product fields manually and click Auto-fill ICP to complete the rest.
2
Review and refine with per-section suggestions
Use the sparkle button on each section to fine-tune anything that does not match your real experience. The suggestion banner lets you apply individual fields or edit before accepting.
3
Check Job Title and Industries are specific
These are the two hard requirements for Validation. Make sure Job Title (in Who Qualifies) and Target Industries (in Firmographics) are specific enough for the AI to simulate realistic buyer personas.
4
Validate each of the four sections
Run the validate button on Pain & Problem, Who Qualifies, What They Want, and Transformation Journey. Read the persona reactions and gaps for each - not just the score.
5
Apply the gaps, re-validate
Fix the one or two gaps flagged per section. Re-validate to confirm the score moves into green. One round of improvements typically takes a section from amber to green.
6
Generate accounts
With all four sections in green, generate your first batch. The AI now has a precise, resonance-tested brief - accounts will be meaningfully qualified, not just broadly matched.
